Eswood

The story of Eswood is one of innovation and reliability. The company was founded in 1932 by Syd Wood, but it’s possible he would have turned to other pursuits if it had not been for his wife, who, with a thoroughly modern attitude for such conservative times, asked, “Why do I have to wash up? Can’t you produce something that will enable me to have the dishes done?”. 

So, the inventive Syd produced a simple dishwasher and, with the help of his brother Ed, formed the company Eswood.  They then began production in a section of a factory in Chapel Road, Bankstown.
